Frequently Asked Questions

Have you taken our HMDN Live Dry Needling course(s) previously and would like to continue certification through our hybrid certification series?

If you wish to receive credit for the 64 CCUs offered you will still need to participate in the entire course.
If you are not interested in the 64 CCUs then I will work with you on personal basis to let you know when in the syllabus you should jump into the coursework. (I would still recommend starting at the beginning for a good refresher).
If you have taken previous HMDN courses I will offer a 10% discount on this full certification course.

What if I am unable to attend one of the live virtual lectures due to a scheduling conflict?

If you are unable to attend a course due to scheduling conflict, technical issues, or other reasons don't worry. Each lecture will be recorded and typically available for review within 48 hours of the lecture.

What if I register for the course after the course start date, can I catch up with the certification series?

Yes. The courses will be recorded live and made available for viewing. The first 4 lectures will be required to be viewed and post lecture assignments submitted before you will be eligible to attend the 1st 8-hour lab session. Likewise, the remaining 12 lectures will be required to be viewed and post lecture assignments submitted before you will be eligible to attend the 3 8-hour lab sessions to reach certification.

I live far away from your office but have several colleagues that also want to be certified. Can the In-person labs be conducted closer to me?

We can absolutely provide alternate locations for the in-person Lab Sessions for groups of 7 or more (the 1-day and the 3-day). Due to various travel restrictions globally there may be extenuating factors that require us to assess potential added costs.

What if I live outside of Texas and want the 64CCUs?

Our Hybrid Certification format is brand new. The FSBPT (Pro cert.) and the APTA no longer approve CE courses. At this time each state requires their own approval or they accept courses with any other state approval, which we have received from Texas, or they allow the clinician to submit the course documents to them directly for certification of CCU. We will gladly work with your state to seek specific state certification requested by students. Be aware that all state practice acts vary concerning scope of practice and the time frames upon which they approve courses. It is the responsibility of the student to be aware of their own state practice acts and access to approval of CCU for their own state.
